Michael Ljungberg
Digital developer, the Public Libraries of Køge
Michael has worked for Køge Public Library and Køge Municipality for 3 years. Primarily as a webmaster for the librarys website but also as an administrator of the municipality's CMS, where he support more than a hundred webeditors.
Lately he's also been working on various projects inclucing requirements for a new CMS and purchasing a CMS. Michael has also been a technical consultant on various national projects for libraries like The library index" and Bogbidder.
Much of Michael's work is oriented towards accessibility and standards - resulting in two consecutive first places in "Bedst på Nettet" with the library's website. Providing information to different audiences in various ways is also a big factor in his everyday work.
Michael comes from a background as a Master of Library and Information Science and is currently working on a masters degree in Software Development at the IT-University in Copenhagen. He is always trying to keep up to date on the latest technology and to find a practical use for it in his daily work.
In his spare time Michael is a big reader of everything from science fiction to Jane Austen - preferably with a Single Malt close at hand - and he also likes running and hiking.
